May 2014

Ah, May. The end of the school year, and the absolute busiest month of the year for us. We have t-ball in full swing, a ga-jillion birthdays (Stu, Jed, my Mom, Creason, Tanner, and others I know I am leaving off), end of the year school activities, weddings, it goes on and on...
Stuart and Rita attended one of Keller's t-ball games and we went to Chuy's to celebrate
Stuart's birthday afterward. This is on of my favorite pics of 3 generations of Cole boys.

Keller with his Bapa and Mommo

Keller tried play catcher this t-ball season. Clearly, you can see how attentive he is...

May was also the reading award assembly at K.I.D., and Keller was recognized for having read over 1000 minutes during the school year. He received a medal for reading the most books in his class! I loved working half-day this year because I was able to attend all of his school events!

Mrs. Aguiar and Mrs. Dismuke with Keller

So proud of our boy! (Ignore the way I look. Morning sickness-more like ALL DAY sickness- is in full swing!)

Another pic of Baby Tunip as he/she is lovingly referred to. As much anxiety I have over this pregnancy after losing Creason, everything is A-okay and baby is growing great!

We had to go to OU's campus one day and so we stopped for lunch at New York Pizza to enjoy a HUGE slice of pizza. Somehow the kid managed to eat it all. What?!

We had a lot of these laying on the couch days after school and in to the early summer. This pregnancy is kicking my butt! Thankfully, I have the best kid in the whole wide world and he is perfectly okay with snuggling up with me every day and just watching t.v. for a couple hours.

Terra Verde sings at Rivermont

I say it all the time, but I will say it again--we are SO HAPPY that we have found Terra Verde Discovery School for Keller to attend. This year has been amazing. We have gone from having a child who HATED going to school everyday the last two years to having a little boy who can't wait to get there in the morning.  His teacher, Ms. Lindsay Berryhill, is an amazing woman who has gotten Keller to tune in and love learning.  Among the wonderful things he has done in first grade this year, including learning Mandarin, having a lemonade stand to earn money to build an animal hospital for dramatic play, visiting The Orr Family Farm, having a manners lunch at Charlestons, and many more things, he also had the opportunity to sing Christmas carols with his 89 other school mates at Rivermont Retirement Home.  The seniors at the home were so entered by these children and we were truly impressed with how well they all behaved. The singing was excellent, but what was truly inspiring w...

It's been ENTIRELY too long!

Clearly Keller is distraught that it has been so long since my last posting. It has been almost two weeks since my last blog post. These last two weeks at school have been so busy that when I come home at night the last thing I want to do is get on the computer. Plus, working so much has not left me ample time to get good shots of Keller. When we're playing and he does something funny I never have the camera around. However, as a good change of pace I do have some good video taken from this weekend. My mom keeps Keller 2-3 days a week and for some reason she decided the boy does not have enough toys. As if...(haha, throwback to Clueless). So, she decided Keller needed to work on being the next Tiger Woods (before all the you know). Anyway, this is Keller with his very first set of golf clubs. At first glance, he seems like a natural... Doesn't it look like he hit the ball right into the cup and is now getting the ball out of his hole-in-one? We he did get it in the cup ...
