Keller's 2nd tball game

Well, this one went better than the first! Keller played the entire game! He was so cute. He stood in the field with his teammates this time and made it through without crying! Jed even had him hitting left handed and he scored an RBI!

My superhero

As you are probably aware, for the last 10 days or so the weather in Oklahoma hasn't exactly been great. I have never been so sick of tornados! Yesterday as we were gearing up for round number I've lost count my own personal super hero came out to protect me. He told me , Don't worry mom the hulk is here. I'll growl and scare that thunder away." And today in Target Captain America paid me a visit. I'm so lucky to have my own "super hero guy".

Handy Manny

We received a visit from Handy Manny today. I am sure glad we have a fix it man around!

Keller's 2nd tball attempt

Well, it went better. Keller's second tball game of the season resulted in him playing the entire time! That is a marked improvement! He stood in the field, hands on his knees ready to field. Jed told him to keep his eye on the ball and to watch the ball. That is just what he did! Any ball that was hit in his remote area, Keller watched. Literally. Did he go after it? Nope. But he sure watched all his teammates go after it. It was too funny.  My little stud muffin!  Jed got Keller to bat left handed this game. We realized that the kids always run to third base when they bat right handed because when they finish their swing they are already facing third so they run that direction, so Jed thought that if K bats left, he will be facing first and so would run that way. Success!

Keller's first t-ball game

Keller's first t-ball game was on Tuesday. A success? Depends on who you ask. Keller has maintained all year he has no interest in playing t-ball, he wantd to play golf, but Jed and my dad insisted he try this year. His first practice ended in a meltdown, resulting in us leaving early. His next practice he made it to and did pretty well. We thought , ok he is getting the hang of this. Jed and I were both athletes, Keller should take to the excitement of the game and get into it. WRONG!!!! The first game was not pretty. He spent most of the game crying and sitting in the stands with me refusing to be on the field or to bat. We finally achieved success in the last inning though when he agreed to go on the field(as long as I came too) and he even batted! When the game was over, I asked him if he had fun and he said yes! So I ventured further and asked if he was ready to come back next game? The answer: "No mom. I already told you. I don't want to play baseball. I want to p...
