Random pics

It's the last Thursday night of my Christmas break. Jed is watching football, Keller is in bed, I have watched all of my Lifetime Christmas movies I recorded (go ahead, laugh, it's okay. I accept that I am a complete loser), I'm not in the mood to read a book, and I am enjoying blogging so as I was scrolling through my iPhone I realized I had some cute pics from the last couple months that I could post. It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood...

It was so nice outside today-almost 73 degrees!- that we just had to go outside and play with some of Keller's new Christmas toys. Keller loves loves loves his basketball goal and has been so sad that is has been too cold to go play outside.   As fun as it is, you know the attention span of a 2 year old. So, after just a few minutes of basketball, it was time to move on to something else-chalk! Playing with chalk is just fine with me; in fact, I love it more than he does, I think. However, since an artist I am not, I pretty much just draw flowers and write our names in all kinds of pretty colors. Here's the funny part, anytime Keller sees a flower-whether it's for real, in a book, magazine, or even chalk-he thinks he has to smell it. Hence this pic: And just to show you how seriously he sniffs it, look at the chalk on his nose!  It's hard to see because it's yellow, but it's there!
