OU basketball

Keller has really gotten into basketball this year. He got a basketball goal for Christmas from Nonni and Papa Todd, he's playing on a recreational basketball team, and he loves watching the Thunder! OU is also really into basketball this season and have one of the top-ranked teams in the country. We decided to take Keller to his first OU bball game on Feb. 13 when OU hosted Kansas in what was supposed to be the rematch of the season (about a month before, OU traveled to Kansas to play when both teams were ranked #1. The Sooners lost that nailbiter in 2 overtimes. However, everyone knew that when they rematches in Norman a month later, the Sooners would be victorious).   , it was a lackadaisical game for both teams without anywhere near the intensity of that prime time battle in January and Kansas had only slightly more gamesmanship than the so-called Sooner Magic and stole another win from the now 3rd-ranked OU team.  That didn't stop our wonderful day though! Keller had fun ...

Gift from Hawaii

Don't you love this necklace? This precious gift was presented to me from Mom and Dad on my 35th birthday. They went to Hawaii for New Year's and mom opened a clam. Inside one single clams were TWO pink pearls (I've been told a rarity?). Mom had them set into a custom piece of jewelry made just for the two pearls. They represent a pearl for each of my two girls who can't be with us. What a wonderful tribute to Creason and Nora. I will truly treasure this gift forever. ❤️❤️❤️

Reeve's Park

On a rare, warm January day, Keller couldn't wait to introduce Alayna to Reeves Park on OU's campus.

Love!

Check up time

Keller had a clean dental check up today. His favorite part? The awesome Batman sunglasses to shield his eyes from the bright light.

Flash

Keller's final Christmas gift this year came a few days late. He has wanted a pet for so long and decided at 7 he would be responsible enough to help take care of it. So, we went to the Norman Animal Shelter and adopted a 2 year old( so they say, we think he is closer to a year) yellow lab. Keller named him Flash because he runs as fast as The Flash (the superhero for all you non-geeks😜).  I'm sure there will be more adventures of Keller and Flash to come. Stay tuned!
