Trunk or treat

Tonight Noble's Dental Lodge had a trunk-or-treat for the kiddos. The first trick-or-treating night of the week! There were costumes, decorations, hot dogs, chips, and candy! We took Alayna with us as the cutest Batgirl I've ever seen and Keller was Optimus Prime. We are so excited Joli and Gene moved to Norman and we hope this is just the first of many outings we get to have together!

Frontier City Fright Fest

Nonni and Papa Todd took Keller to Fright Fest at OKC on Sunday. He got to see Halloween decorations and ride the rides as the park was all dressed up Halloween. Keller still hasn't recovered from me traumatizing him on Expedition Everest last year, but he did ride some rides so the day wasn't a complete waste!

Spaghetti night

Keller wanted spaghetti for dinner tonight and his friend and neighbor Jack stayed over to enjoy dinner with us.  During dinner the boys learned about spaghetti sandwiches and the silliness ensued.

Saylor's 5th birthday

IIt's so hard to believe another year has passed. These kids are growing up too fast. Saylor Williams turned 5 in Oct. 13, and we celebrated her birthday yesterday. Keller and Say were so happy to see each other (their parents have been awful and have kept them apart for far too long). Let's hope it's not months before they are together again.  Saylor had a mad scientist at her birthday party because she is so into science right now. The kiddos got to make their own slime. This is what Keller thought about it.  Then they got to enjoy some fresh spun cotton candy as the science lesson continued. Definitely the highlight of the day for Keller! I It was a fun-filled afternoon with great friends!

Lemonade Stand

Keller's first grade class at Terra Verde has decided that they want to have  dramatic play area outside. They want the area to be an animal hospital. The class decided to host a lemonade stand during Brain Break one Friday to raise the funds needed to build the animal hospital. Despite the cold, the lemonade stand was a huge hit, and the first graders raised over $200 for their animal hospital. It was pretty cool because they learned about science (making lemonade and measuring), counting change (math), and good people skills (hosting and delivering drinks and snacks), among other things I can't think of right now. Keller continues to be so happy at Terra Verde. It is such a joy that we get to send him to this awesome school.
