The Zoo

There was one Saturday in early September when OU was on a bye week and it wasn't still a million degrees outside so we decided to take a family trip to the OKC Zoo, something we have never done before. We had great fun, and to see Keller light up when we saw all the animals was worth all the heat, stink, and general crazy peopleness! Our first stop was the sea lion show. Keller was quite infatuated with them and he couldn't wait for the show to start. I snapped this picture of him and haven't really paid attention until just now and I realize how much he looks like a little boy, not a baby or toddler anymore. Keller thought this Orangutan looked like his daddy! Bahahahaha. He told me, "He's bored and he's four. He's just like my Daddy." No idea what that means but I cracked up. After visiting the gorillas, Keller thought it was very important to demonstrate for us how he could walk like they could. ...

My boys!

Keller was literally trying to climb the walls one night at Nonnie and Papa Todd's house. My 2 handsome men! Keller loves splashing with Papa Todd in the pool! Crashed out after a long hard summer day of fun! First day of school for fall 2012 for Keller and Orange the Lion

Summer winding down

As the summer of 2012 comes to a close here's a few pics from along the way... Keller got to meet Sooners wide receiver Kenny Stills  at Chuy's in Norman. Papa Todd being...well....Papa Todd! At some point, Keller discovered that his toenails were quite a delicacy. EEEWWW! Gross!  Artwork! Thank you Pinterest! After Keller kept insisting he was not tired and, therefore, did not need to go to bed, I left the room for literally 45 second and came back to this! Getting some cousin time in with Channing! My little boy grew so much this summer, he graduated from a car seat to a booster seat. And Keller loves to help his dad sweep outside after Jed is done mowing. Margaritaville a la the Triplett Labor Day party. Keller and Laurent Lake Kingston chillin' by the edge of the pool. Having a good time, I'd say!   Speaking of Keller. He grew and changed so much this year. It's hard to believe he is going to be...

Kinley and Keller

At the beginning of August, Keller and I took a quick trip to Dallas. One of my good friends from college, Shea, lives in Dallas. She has a little girl named Kinley who is also three ( just about 8 weeks younger than Keller). These two have so much fun every time they get together, we were so happy to be able to get them together again. In the past I have had such a tight time frame while in Dallas that the kids only get to see each other for a couple hours, but this time we spent 2 days with Shea and Kinley, and the kiddos had a blast together. I took a ton of pictures but I didn't realize the batteries on my camera were low (not to mention I am a terrible photographer), so I only have a few cute ones to post. Shea has tons better pics but here are my cutest! We don't have a Firehouse Subs yet in Norman (thought it is being built) so whenever I am in Dallas I make sure to eat there. Luckily, it is one of Shea's favorite places too! Accompanying Keller on our ride ...

New House

I am not sure if I have mentioned it or not, but when we found out we were excpecting again in February, we decided it was time for more room! We could have bought a new house and been done with it and moved in by now, but I wanted to pick everything in the house myself, so we decided to build. I tried to take pictures along the way; however, that does not mean I have been very good a posting them. So this is our house sometime in June... July... For reasons, I would rather discuss nothing happened in August so we'll jump to September And I have no idea why I have not taken any other pictures since they started hanging drywell. Just got busy with school and life I guess. We close on Wednesday and move in this weekend. So be prepared for LOTS of pictures soon!
