Summer winding down

As the summer of 2012 comes to a close here's a few pics from along the way...

Keller got to meet Sooners wide receiver Kenny Stills  at Chuy's in Norman.
Papa Todd being...well....Papa Todd!

At some point, Keller discovered that his toenails were quite a delicacy. EEEWWW! Gross!

 Artwork! Thank you Pinterest!
After Keller kept insisting he was not tired and, therefore, did not need to go to bed, I left the room for literally 45 second and came back to this!

Getting some cousin time in with Channing!

My little boy grew so much this summer, he graduated from a car seat to a booster seat.

And Keller loves to help his dad sweep outside after Jed is done mowing.

Margaritaville a la the Triplett Labor Day party.
Keller and Laurent Lake Kingston chillin' by the edge of the pool.

Having a good time, I'd say!

Speaking of Keller. He grew and changed so much this year. It's hard to believe he is going to be four years old in December. Some of my favorite sayings from this year follow:

His favorite shoes were his "minkies" (Nikes)
He loves to go to Chik-fil-a after 'nastics (gymnastics), go down the slide 3 times, and then go to Holly Lovvies ( Hobby Lobby)

Terra Verde sings at Rivermont

I say it all the time, but I will say it again--we are SO HAPPY that we have found Terra Verde Discovery School for Keller to attend. This year has been amazing. We have gone from having a child who HATED going to school everyday the last two years to having a little boy who can't wait to get there in the morning.  His teacher, Ms. Lindsay Berryhill, is an amazing woman who has gotten Keller to tune in and love learning.  Among the wonderful things he has done in first grade this year, including learning Mandarin, having a lemonade stand to earn money to build an animal hospital for dramatic play, visiting The Orr Family Farm, having a manners lunch at Charlestons, and many more things, he also had the opportunity to sing Christmas carols with his 89 other school mates at Rivermont Retirement Home.  The seniors at the home were so entered by these children and we were truly impressed with how well they all behaved. The singing was excellent, but what was truly inspiring w...

It's been ENTIRELY too long!

Clearly Keller is distraught that it has been so long since my last posting. It has been almost two weeks since my last blog post. These last two weeks at school have been so busy that when I come home at night the last thing I want to do is get on the computer. Plus, working so much has not left me ample time to get good shots of Keller. When we're playing and he does something funny I never have the camera around. However, as a good change of pace I do have some good video taken from this weekend. My mom keeps Keller 2-3 days a week and for some reason she decided the boy does not have enough toys. As if...(haha, throwback to Clueless). So, she decided Keller needed to work on being the next Tiger Woods (before all the you know). Anyway, this is Keller with his very first set of golf clubs. At first glance, he seems like a natural... Doesn't it look like he hit the ball right into the cup and is now getting the ball out of his hole-in-one? We he did get it in the cup ...
