Journaling my Journey

Clearly Keller is distraught that it has been so long since my last posting. It has been almost two weeks since my last blog post. These last two weeks at school have been so busy that when I come home at night the last thing I want to do is get on the computer. Plus, working so much has not left me ample time to get good shots of Keller. When we're playing and he does something funny I never have the camera around. However, as a good change of pace I do have some good video taken from this weekend. My mom keeps Keller 2-3 days a week and for some reason she decided the boy does not have enough toys. As if...(haha, throwback to Clueless). So, she decided Keller needed to work on being the next Tiger Woods (before all the you know). Anyway, this is Keller with his very first set of golf clubs. At first glance, he seems like a natural... Doesn't it look like he hit the ball right into the cup and is now getting the ball out of his hole-in-one? We he did get it in the cup ...

On Wednesday, Oct. 13, one of my best friends from high school, Heather (Coffman)Williams had her very first baby-a little girl she and her husband Josh have named Saylor Grace. I was so lucky to be able to watch Saylor be born, along with my other close friend and Heather's cousin Sara as we acted as "official" camera and film persons for Saylor's first moments. I loved getting to hold her. It was such a special day and I am grateful I was able to be part of it. I definitely came home with baby fever, much to Jed's chagrin. Don't hold your breath though, more kids for this couple are still a few years off. We are enjoying our time with Keller right now, and he is way more than enough for us to handle. I can't imagine adding anymore! Sara and I came up with the great idea to decorate Heather's house for when she came home from the hospital.
