Tanner's ENJJPT Graduation

This is a LONG post, so I'll try to keep the words short. You only care about the pictures anyway. Tanner received his wings on Friday, May 20, 2011; officially making him a pilot in the United States Air Force and we couldn't be more proud. He graduated from ENJJPT (Euro-Nato Joint Jet Pilot Training), the most prestigious flight training program in the world, and so now he can basically fly anything, anywhere, anytime. Crazy isn't it?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Keller and I headed down on Thursday with Jed following on Friday. We took the train from Norman to Fort Worth and Keller loved every minute of it. He ran back and forth down the aisles and loved talking to the conductor. Tanner tooks us into the simulator where we could theoretically get in the cockpit and fly his jet.  This is what the inside of a T-38 looks like. Keller of course had more fun playing outside and climbing on the rock. T made the coolest video of what the past 55 weeks have been like. I started taking p...

Happy Birthday Todd and Robin

I'm a little behind so please bear with me...May has been a crazy month! Both of my parents turned 50 this year (Todd in March and Robin in May), so Tanner and I thought it would be fun to throw them a surprise 50th birthday party to celebrate the big occasion. We had the party in Edmond at their best friend's house (Shawn and Jody Smith) and they thought they were coming to a cookout for Danae (Shawn and Jody's daughter) to celebrate her college graduation. So they were very surprised!  Keller had fun being the life of the party.  The girls all celebrated with a round of tequila shots that were party favors originally.  The cake...  The happy 50 years old couple! You are looking at 100 years in this pic. Looks pretty good, doesn't it?  Keller enjoyed the evening playing in the pond and catching up with his Aunt Staci.  And, of course, no party would be complete without Tanner making a wierd face... Happy Birthdays Mom and Dad!

Driving

Keller is obsessed with the car these days. He loves to "drive" anytime we go anywhere. Consequently, we let him sit in the driver's seat for about 5 minutes and push all kinds of buttons; then he is happy, and will climb right into his carseat. Oh, and wearing my sunglasses is a must too! Climbing is another big thing of Keller's right now. Jed took us out to Cheddar's one day last week and while we were waiting Keller climbed up and down the boulder over and over and over... He was quite impressed with himself. It't much, but it has been so long since I blogged, I felt I needed to show my loyal followers something!
