This is a LONG post, so I'll try to keep the words short. You only care about the pictures anyway.
Tanner received his wings on Friday, May 20, 2011; officially making him a pilot in the United States Air Force and we couldn't be more proud. He graduated from ENJJPT (Euro-Nato Joint Jet Pilot Training), the most prestigious flight training program in the world, and so now he can basically fly anything, anywhere, anytime. Crazy isn't it?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Keller and I headed down on Thursday with Jed following on Friday. We took the train from Norman to Fort Worth and Keller loved every minute of it. He ran back and forth down the aisles and loved talking to the conductor.
He also loves playing with the water hose.
But when we told him the pool water was still too cold to swim in, this was the reaction....
Dad was looking under Tanner's truck because we thought he had an oil leak and you know what they say...
Monkey see, monkey do!

Tanner tooks us into the simulator where we could theoretically get in the cockpit and fly his jet. This is what the inside of a T-38 looks like.
Keller of course had more fun playing outside and climbing on the rock.
T made the coolest video of what the past 55 weeks have been like. I started taking pictures because Keller was having such a blast running back and forth on the stage, but if you look closer you can actually see some of the cool pictures Tanner has documenting his experience.
I love this picture. It's a picture of Tanner heading to his jet and Keller saw his Uncle T walking to he stopped in his shadow and watched. I think it's a neat picture.
Keller trying the steal the show of course.
Meanwhile....
Keller is outside running around like a madman because he decided that the graduation ceremony was NOT for him. He sat still for about 20 minutes and that was it. Poor Jed left the ceremony to go out and chase Keller all over so that I could see my bro get his wings. What a good husband! Apparantly we weren't the only ones with a busy two-year old though, Keller quickly found a friend to run all over with.
Keller is very impressed with Uncle Tanner's new wings! He wants them for himself! And since this was a formal event and we all had to get dressed up, that meant lots of pictures! Here's us looking our finest!
Saturday morning we left Wichita Falls and went back Dallas to continue the weekend celebration at my parents' house. It was so freaking hot on Saturday we let Keller run around in his diaper all day and so that's what all the pictures have---an almost naked 2 year old.
Keller loves pretending to drive the Sea-Doo and will spend hours on it pushing buttons!
He also loves playing with the water hose.
As evening approached, Jed was finally able to convince him to put clothes on and shoot some hoops to get ready for the Thunder game. He's not half bad! Maybe a future Nick Collison on our hands! Haha!
Goofing around with Papa Todd.
On Sunday we drove to Allen to have lunch with Jed's sister, Joli. On the way, Keller crashed. Crashed hard. The cup was hanging out of his mouth while he slept. It made us laugh so hard!
Dad was looking under Tanner's truck because we thought he had an oil leak and you know what they say...
Monkey see, monkey do!
And finally...
My totally awesome little brother and his plane...
This is Tanner flying formation. He is the second from the left. How cool is that?!
