Eggs!

Jed and Keller went shopping for a new lawn mower today...what fun...NOT!... Keller doesn't agree with me though; he LOVES tractors and was so glad he got to go with his dad today. It's Easter, so you know what that means! Time to color eggs! Yea! I LOVE coloring eggs and I don't think I have done it in years, so I was so excited today! Originally we were supposed to go to a friend's house because they have a little girl Keller's age. They were also inviting other people over and all the kiddos were going to have a big egg-coloring party! Doesn't that sound like such fun? Only, Marlee came down with the stomach flu today (sorry Marlee, feel better soon!), so the party was canceled. At first I fretted because I had nothing to color eggs with, but then I remembered that Aunt Jessica sent Keller an Easter basket yesterday and it had egg color in it! Yea! She saved the day! So, I got everything all set up nice and neat... I only did 8 eggs at first becaus...

Catching up

I have no idea when this first picture was taken but I remember my dad tying Keller's blanket around him and making him "Super OU Man". Keller ran around dressed like this for a couple hours! It was really funny!  A few weeks ago, one of Keller's friends, Marlee, had her 2nd birthday party. One of the games at the party was a wall where they could stick their head through. Keller had tons of fun sticking his head through the star fish, over and over and over... Jed has been working hard in our backyard the past few weeks. He and Dad spent a weekend relandscaping it with new sod, laying a new patio, and all that other stuff you do in yards (Don't ask me, I don't do yardwork!). So, we have been spending lots of time outside these days since it isn't a weed jungle anymore. I came home from work one day and this was Keller's new favorite game... No! Not just basketball; standing in the chair and shooting the basketball! My mom has been having back trouble...

It's the great flood of Keller

It has been way too long since I last blogged, all you followers probably thought I had given up. No. Things have just been extremely boring around here. Plus, it's the last nine weeks of school and these always turn into hectic, hectic weeks for me. Needless to say, I am swamped in grading (research papers), exhausted, and just too darn lazy to even think about blogging at night. However, I do have a few cute things to share from the past week. The first is from outside over the weekend, working in the yard. We are in the process of relandscaping our backyard. New sod, new plants, the works...and by "we" I mean Jed (and sometimes my Dad); not me. I don't do yard work...anyway...Keller LOVES to help his Dad water the yard so I snapped a few cute pics the other day. Keller insists on trying to hold the hose by himself and help water the yard. Only he doesn't have the strength to hold the handle down and aim where he's going, so instead of the grass getting wa...
