Missing his Daddy

Jed has been out of town all week on a fishing trip, and I think Keller is really starting to miss his dad. All he does is walk around with Jed's ball cap on his head. He refuses to wear any other one, just this white Pinehurst one. He even wears it in public! He has also taken a fancy to wearing Jed's snow glove too (?). Anyway, I thought it was cute and wanted to share!  And yes, he even wore it "driving" with Elmo at Toys 'R' Us.

Oklahoma City Zoo

It is spring break in Oklahoma! That means Karis is staying with Mommo and Bapa all week and cousin playtime for Karis and Keller. On Tuesday, we took the kiddos to the zoo. Now, I have been to a few zoos in my lifetime, but I haven't been to the OKC since I was like eight years old--and I probably won't be going back unless Keller begs me. So here he is...zoo bound! Carnival!

Over the weekend we went to Guthrie to see my Nene and Papa and cousins, Channing and Baylor. Channing is 4 and -if you remember from earlier posts- she is not Keller's biggest fan. Only this time she seems to have changed her tune and she was more than happy to share her toys and her snacks with him. She even gave Keller an apple and he copied her in eating it-as in not letting me cut it up! He bit right into the thing and ate almost the entire apple, core and all! Two exciting things happened today. The first being that Tanner (or Unh T, in Keller speak) flew into Will Rogers today from Wichita Falls, so Mom, Dad, and Keller got to go out and see Tanner's jet and snap a couple photos. I was very jealous that I had to work :(. Keller was very excited to see his Uncle T but he wasn't so sure about all the loud noise the jets made. When it was time for Tanner to go Keller kept saying, "Bye Unh T, fly away!" SHOUT week is going on at Noble this week (it's ...
