It's the last Thursday night of my Christmas break. Jed is watching football, Keller is in bed, I have watched all of my Lifetime Christmas movies I recorded (go ahead, laugh, it's okay. I accept that I am a complete loser), I'm not in the mood to read a book, and I am enjoying blogging so as I was scrolling through my iPhone I realized I had some cute pics from the last couple months that I could post. So here you go. It's the last Thursday night of my Christmas break. So here you go.
Mom and I went shopping in Edmond one Saturday to the cutest kids' store, Ladybugs and Lizards, and they had this gigantic monkey sitting in a chair just inside the door. Well, Keller was instantly drawn to it, and had to give it a hug.
Then he just decided to cuddle with it on the floor.
And he laid there almost the entire time we shopped. He did not want to leave that monkey!
He also thinks whenever I am in the kitchen cooking dinner, that this is the best time to try to climb my legs and want my undivided attention. So my solution: Set him on the counter and let him think he is helping me. I got out a pot and a spoon, and he "cooked" Kisses, and had a blast.
This is right after his birthday this year. We had a Toy Story theme and he got a cowboy hat just like Woody. Only, he refused to wear it at his birthday party, but he wore it the next day, along with his Elmo houseshoes.
This kid LOVES tacos!
Okay, I know this pic is blurry because I was moving, actually following over because I lost my balance squatting...but I still think it's funny. We were at Keller's 2 year check up, waiting on the doc to come in, and K picked up a magazine and started "reading" it and he looked so grown up! It was super funny.
We went shopping one day in Ardmore with Mommo and Karis and went into a boutique that had this stuffed dog. Keller, of course, attempted to ride it. Do you see a theme with him and big stuffed animals?
After shopping we went to McDonald's for some ice cream. I got Keller ice cream in a cup and Mommo got a cone. Well, Keller decided he too wanted a cone, and Mommo, being the wonderful grandma she is, gave hers to K. He was double-fisting it!

We were in Target the other day, and usually when we're in there, he is riding in a cart because when it comes to me and Target it is never a quick trip. However, this time we just needed to look at one thing, so I let him walk. For some reason, Keller became fascinated with the floor! It took forever to get out of there because he would take a step and stop and look at the reflection of the light and try to figure out how to step in it, then it would move and he would have to figure it out all over again. It was one of his funniest moments in his two years.
And finally, shopping once again, this time at Gap, Keller had decided he had enough and just decided to lay down on a clothes hanger, right there in the middle of the store. It's funny because my friend Shea's little girl Kinley does the same thing-just throws herself on the floor and I used to laugh at her postings, and then two days later Keller started doing the same thing!
Two year olds! Aren't they fun!
