Keller's first t-ball game was on Tuesday. A success? Depends on who you ask. Keller has maintained all year he has no interest in playing t-ball, he wantd to play golf, but Jed and my dad insisted he try this year. His first practice ended in a meltdown, resulting in us leaving early. His next practice he made it to and did pretty well.
We thought , ok he is getting the hang of this. Jed and I were both athletes, Keller should take to the excitement of the game and get into it. WRONG!!!!
The first game was not pretty. He spent most of the game crying and sitting in the stands with me refusing to be on the field or to bat. We finally achieved success in the last inning though when he agreed to go on the field(as long as I came too) and he even batted!
When the game was over, I asked him if he had fun and he said yes! So I ventured further and asked if he was ready to come back next game? The answer: "No mom. I already told you. I don't want to play baseball. I want to play golf. Golf is my favorite NOT baseball." He made his point!
Oh well. Hey at least I got some cute pics!

The seniors at the home were so entered by these children and we were truly impressed with how well they all behaved. The singing was excellent, but what was truly inspiring w...
