March was beginning the time of year that just gets insanely busy for me. Rehearsals for the end of the year production ramp up, spring break, t-ball starts...Everything starts in March and I feel like it doesn't slow down until June.
The beginning of March was still cold. We had a weird late season snow storm and after unseasonable warm weather in February, this month was COLD.
One day at SAM's Club we ran into Trevor Knight, the OU Sooners quarterback, and some other of the football players. They were the nicest group of guys and were all too happy to snap a quick pick with Keller.
Jed and I managed to squeeze in a date night at Pinot's Palette in Bricktown and did our own canvas paintings. I have done it several times before, but this was his first. We really had a good time! I think I might even be able to drag him again in the future.
The weekend of spring break, my cousin Kari had her bachelorette party in Tulsa and we had a great girls' weekend. I swear I took more pictures of this weekend, but I have no idea where they are....
Over spring break this year, Keller finally got the playset he has been wanting. I can't keep him off of it!
I also took a day out of my not-so-busy spring break to go visit my Mimi in the nursing home.
At the end of the month was the Junior Hospitality League of Oklahoma City's Chips for Charity fundraiser. My friend Kyla Sanden is in the JHL, and invited us to it. Jed couldn't go because of a prior commitment, so my dad went with me for a fun father-daughter night. Oh my goodness what fun we had! $50 ticket bought you $500 in poker chips to try to win a prize at the end of the night. There was an open bar, a great d.j., and it was catered by all the top restaurants in OKC with a tasting menu (and you could eat as much as your wanted!). It was one of the funniest events I have ever been to and I cannot wait until next year.

To cap off March there was a teacher rally at the state capital to try to protest the amount of money teachers don't get paid and the amount of money our state legislators don't spend on the students of this state. There were over 25,000 teachers and other supporters at the rally. Only time will tell if we made a difference.
