More from From 2011

I finally found the computer cord to my camera, so I can update all the pictures that I have taken this fall. My previous few posts have been what I found on my iPhone, and I had forgotten I had so many on my actual camera. So here is another fall update:
Here is a picture of my mom and me at Danae's wedding in August.
Keller spent a weekend in September in Pauls Valley with Karis at Jed's parents. They have the most fun sliding down the hill in the backyard using the lid to the sandbox. You can tell by the expression on his face that Keller isn't too sure what he has gotten himself into with his cousin.

Things were a bit better once she decided to ride with him, instead of pushing him.

For Halloween, we decide to let Keller get his own pumpkin to paint. I tried to get him to carve one with me, but as soon as he felt the slimey guts on his hands, he had enough of that. He thoroughly enjoyed painting the pumpkin though!

Eating Halloween candy. Keller's favorite kind of candy is suckers. Any kind. As soon as one was put into his sack, he wanted to eat it right then and there.

 Trick-or-treating with Papa Todd.
 Posing with Kyleigh and Matt.
When we were all done with Halloween festivities and had bathtime Keller found the stickers he had previously placed on his painted pumpkin and thought it would be fun to decorate his face with them. He was very proud of himself and his artistic abilty.

Our best friends Josh and Heather came over to watch the debacle known as the OU/OSU game this year and Heather and I love to joke how Keller and their little girl Saylor are betrothed. Here is a picture of the two lovebirds posing together.
Keller loved hanging around Saylor, while she just loved eating guac off the spoon!

Terra Verde sings at Rivermont

I say it all the time, but I will say it again--we are SO HAPPY that we have found Terra Verde Discovery School for Keller to attend. This year has been amazing. We have gone from having a child who HATED going to school everyday the last two years to having a little boy who can't wait to get there in the morning.  His teacher, Ms. Lindsay Berryhill, is an amazing woman who has gotten Keller to tune in and love learning.  Among the wonderful things he has done in first grade this year, including learning Mandarin, having a lemonade stand to earn money to build an animal hospital for dramatic play, visiting The Orr Family Farm, having a manners lunch at Charlestons, and many more things, he also had the opportunity to sing Christmas carols with his 89 other school mates at Rivermont Retirement Home.  The seniors at the home were so entered by these children and we were truly impressed with how well they all behaved. The singing was excellent, but what was truly inspiring w...

It's been ENTIRELY too long!

Clearly Keller is distraught that it has been so long since my last posting. It has been almost two weeks since my last blog post. These last two weeks at school have been so busy that when I come home at night the last thing I want to do is get on the computer. Plus, working so much has not left me ample time to get good shots of Keller. When we're playing and he does something funny I never have the camera around. However, as a good change of pace I do have some good video taken from this weekend. My mom keeps Keller 2-3 days a week and for some reason she decided the boy does not have enough toys. As if...(haha, throwback to Clueless). So, she decided Keller needed to work on being the next Tiger Woods (before all the you know). Anyway, this is Keller with his very first set of golf clubs. At first glance, he seems like a natural... Doesn't it look like he hit the ball right into the cup and is now getting the ball out of his hole-in-one? We he did get it in the cup ...
